Second day of pre-school & Fridays are show and share days.
Ben has made it to 29 palms. They have no cell phone service out there so are phone calls are going to be extremely limited for the next 4 weeks. We are able to email at least once a day so thank goodness for that!
This is from a few months ago when they had the volunteer appreciation party for Ben's squadron.

What kind of doll is that? Looks cool. Glad you get at least one email a day. My grandma told met hat it was hard when my grandpa was in the Navy sailing all over - she'd have to wait for letters and it always seem to take forever! I think it's so wonderful that it's easier to stay in touch these days!
What a neat doll. I have never seen anything like that before but it is a genious idea!
Thanks girls! THey are called "daddy dolls" A lot of military use them but you can also make them with granparents pics on them as well. You can google hug a hero or daddy dolls and it will pop up!
The email is indeed nice! I don't know what I would do if I had to wait on the mail!
Yes, those daddy dolls are wonderful. How sweet that Kendall chose hers to share.
I was so thankful that emails were possible when my hubby was in Kuwait and then also in Iraq. I can not imagine waiting for snail mail like during my dad's military time frame (Vietnam) or father-in-law's time (Korean war) or any time prior to the internet!
Blessings & Aloha!
