You know the saying.....it's not official until it's Facebook official. Well I did that earlier this week and I also wanted to make sure to remember it here on our blog of family memories.
I am very excited, scared, thankful, and nervous to be stepping into a full time school nurse position this year.
I have learned so much over the past 2 years of substitute school nursing but I know that I have barely scratched the surface. I am praying that in the current season of COVID that I can bring calm, education, and wellness to the staff and family!
Oh and for those asking, I am still able to work a bit at the college. They have offered me the ability to do the online grading portion/office hours for the CNA program.
Very thankful and so blessed for these amazing opportunities this year!
Kendall and Isaac are beyond excited to begin their school year on Monday. They will be Mary Faye Bulldogs and are proud of it!
So hard to believe Kendall bug is already in 2nd grade and Isaac well it's not possible that it is time for kindergarten already!!
Kymber and I are probably not as excited to see them go! She will miss her buddies and I will miss all the chaos in the house!
Here's to a year of growth for all of us & prayers for a blessed year of school!
....when you ask Kendall.....

....to go check on her little brother for you.

Anyway, I am still not quite certain how she managed to get into the crib but there she was for all to see!
I just wanted to share my good mood with everyone. I spent 3.5 glorious hours to myself today getting a haircut & highlights then a pedicure. Thanks again to Melissa who made this possible! If the day wasn't already filled with a wonderful blessings (in the form of a break from the kids) for me...Ben called while I was under the dryer to tell me that they are under motion and on their way home!! Can I get a WHOOP?!?! He will not make it for Easter but just knowing that he is on the way has taken a huge weight off of my shoulders. Please pray that the aircraft holds it together enough to get back to NC without breaking again!
WHOOP!

Isaac is 4 months old today! He also had his 4 month check-up and shots today. What a trooper he has been. He weighed in at 19 pounds 2 ounces (off the chart for weight!) and was 26.5 inches tall (95%). It is looking like we are going to have another big Beach boy on our hands. He is nice and strong for his age too. Stay tuned for more news on both of the kiddos!
