Thank-you to Kim over at http://pairslices.blogspot.com/ for my award! I so enjoy looking at your blog and your wonderful comments on mine! So glad to get to know you over blog world! It just goes to show you what a small world it is!
The rules here are to pass the award on to 7 bloggers who I think are honest in their blogging and to list 10 honest things about myself. Here goes:
1. I am feeling slightly overwhelmed right now but I am steadily praying to God & giving it over to him.
2. I miss my job and patients but wouldn't trade being at home with my kids for anything.
3. I am getting excited about facilitating my small group for ladies bible study even if I am pretty nervous about it as well.
4. I patrolled my house at 230 in the morning last night with my husbands ka-bar because I woke up with a weird sensation. (Your mind can seriously play tricks on you!)
5. I am terrified of one of our dogs dying. (My in laws have just lost one of their pups and I think that is where it is stemming from!)
6. I am hoping to get Lasik when I am done with braces. (I can only take so much change at once!) I am right there with you Kim!
7. I am tired of having cereal for dinner. (A staple for us when my honey isn't home!)
8. I want to find time to take a signing class at our local community college.
9. I am tempted to pull my husbands jalapeno plants out before he gets home because I have nothing to do with them while he is gone!
10. We have take a tithing challenge at church and I would like for you to pray for us as we try to manage the finances to do this!

I would love to learn how to sing! I love to do it, but nobody likes to hear me :o)
And I think you'll find in your tithing challenge that you will actually get along better. Like our pastor says when you tithe you are living on 90% blessed, but when you don't it's 100% cursed. We have tithed our entire marriage (9 years) and God has never let us down!
Yeah, I enjoyed reading your list. I am sure you will make an excellent bible study leader, I enjoy the verses on your site. I will pray for your safety and to ease that overwhelmed feeling not good to have both those feeling in one day. Take Care!
Hi Jamie, The list is very awesome, Jamie. I know you have your "plate full" with Ben gone. I also know you won't give up! did you mean you wanted to take a signing class (as in sign language)? I am VERY proud of you facilitating a group for the Beth Moore Study. that is really neat---and that you guys have decided to tithe. Jim and I have tithed for the entire 35 years of our marriage (since we were young Christians when we got married). we have never ever been sorry. When we do a budget, the tithe (and offerings) come out first---then we pay bills. tithing makes the money stretch further, believe it or not. God does NOT need our money, butttttttt..............we need His blessing....and when we obey Him, He is very pleased! tithing is an important step in obedience. Jamie, we love you and are very proud of you! Let's visit, OK?
I always love reading these types of lists...fun to learn more about blog friends :o)
When do you start your bible study?
...when ours were little and my hubby was deployed, we did a lot of soup and sandwiches... often I just wouldnt feel like eating).
...like Chris, as tithers since our early years of marriage (27+ now) the Lord has truly blessed us through "lean" times and times of plenty. We tithed first (so it never felt that amount was missing), and then we always had more than enough for the rest.
Thank you for tagging me for this one :o)
Blessings & Aloha!
(I think I am caught up on your posts :o)
