Raining on my parade!

LOL. We got off on time for our library play group only to get there to have it pouring down rain. I decided that we were going to have a fun day in spite of it. We made it a game where we "ran" into the library. (I use that term loosely since I don't know that running would be a good description of what I was doing :-) ) We did get wet on the way in only to discover our friends playing in the rain by the door. Not to be outdone, Kendall joined Gabriel to splash for awhile before group started. (Tamara and I stayed right inside the door....both being preggers and not wanting to spend the hour soaked! Hopefully, Isaac will hold out so that we can go and get wet again at Gabriel's bday party this weekend!)
Kendall had a great time so I was very glad that I made the effort to go! When we left, the expression raining cats & dogs was putting it mildly! Lucky for me, Kendall played along again & had fun minus 2 stops to say "my hair, my hair!" We came home and dried off then both went down for a nap. I am now getting ready for some not so fun mommy duties....dishes, laundry, vaccuming, etc.

Sounds like fun, even if it rained.

I am still hoping that you can make it to September 12. Can you believe that Thomas would be 6?

I hope that I can make it to the 12th because that would be an honor to share that day with Thomas but I don't know if my body is going to hold out that long. I cannot believe that it has been that long. It feels like just yesterday when we were working 3 west! Maybe someday we will make it back down there! I don't think that we are going to make Dana's wedding but it would be so fun to get together!
