Grey hair

Ben is not the only one who is going to be getting grey hair from our new son......
Saturday afternoon I started to feel chilled alternating with hot flashes & like a good nurse I ignored it thinking it was either hormones talking or that I was getting sick. (Ben is on antibotics for a cough and sore throat) The cold chills and hot flashes continued into Sunday. Being the reasonable individual that I am.....I decided to tough it out and go to church, sunday school, & tried to get a nap in before I took my temperature to realize that I had a bad fever 101.4 here at the house.
My temp along with the constant back pain took us to the labor deck on Sunday afternoon. They monitored me for awhile, took another urine, and gave me some tylenol for the fever. When we first got there I was having braxton-hicks contractions regularly every 6-7 minutes which lead to an examination.
We are now standing at 50% effacement, almost 2 cm dilated, and my cervix is blottable. (I am not sure what the blottable is and since most of my nursing texts are packed away in storage I am just out of the loop.)
I am feeling pretty decent today so we are going to try to meet Stef for lunch and possibly go to Barnes and Noble for story time depending on how long it takes for us to get ready!
