We had a great time on Saturday at Shackleford Island. We opted to stay just 3 hours out there before our ferry cam back to get us but I think that with the kids that was probably just the perfect time! We had to hike a bit to see the wild horses but it was so worth it!
Of course we had to play in the sand and water some.
Isaac and I waiting for Ben & Kendall to scout out where the horses were.

Ok,ok not shackleford but I wanted to show you what my sweet husband brought home last week for me!

Looks like so much fun. Maybe we will have to check it out next time we are in the North Carolina area. Horses are so pretty to see.
It was great! We are thinking about renting a john boat to travel over and camp there for a night when it's cooler. Are you planning on coming to NC anytime soon? That would be fun!
Jamie, thanks for the beautiful pictures. Made me almost think we were with you there. It looks like it was a wonderful outing for your beachbunch! Love Chris
You're welcome Chris! I like to keep you guys feeling like you are right here with us since obviously we can't be together as much as we want!
Wish we could take you guys out there in December but they don't run the ferry! BOO!
Been thinking about you and Jim. I wish we were there to help out...I know that there is a special place in heaven for our 4-leggers. It just wouldn't be heaven without them!
Love you!
