From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
Luke 12:48
Luke 12:48
We have been working on our spiritual gifts (or determining what they are!) with our ladies bible study/church. When I saw today's bible verse, it just clicked with what I have been thinking about so I decided to share it.

Learning authentic Italian cooking
Marine Corp Ball 2009
Ben's squadron was supposed to be gone for the month of November (they are fortunately not going to be!) so the ball was planned for October to accomodate for this. It was really fun to celebrate the Marine Corps birthday on the 1st birthday of HMLA 467 as well. It has been really neat to be a part of MC history with Ben. I will be sad to be leaving the squadron next year!

Emerald Isle Triathlon 2009
Award from a bloggy friend

Here are the rules to this award.
1-Thank the person who nominated you for this award.
2-Copy the logo and place it on your blog.
3-Link to the person who nominated you for this award.
4-Name 7 things about yourself that people may not know.
5-Nominate 7 Kreativ Bloggers.
6-Post links to the 7 blogs you nominate.
7-Leave a comment on each of the blogs letting them know they've been nominated.
Ok so here are 7 things about me.
- I cannot stand hair. (It is ok when attached to a person's head......but ask me to cut my hubby, kids, or anyone else's hair and I GAG!)
- I am terrified of public speaking but I was talked into doing a scholarship pageant for my college in front of 2,000 people.
- I don't like when people are mean to others. I am better at standing up for my family and friends than I am for myself with these people.
- My husband has made me (& still is) a better person just for being himself.
- Even though I want another baby, I am terrified that something will go wrong. (I think that I have been reading too many blogs about tragic complications & problems with babies and pregnancies.)
- I could probably take a nap every day (even if I am not tired.....I just love napping!)
- I am making my Christmas list up as we speak so my mom can have it to shop with by October 30th!
Now I know that I am supposed to nominate 7 people but I love reading the blogs of all of my followers & people that I follow so I am going to leave it out there for all of you Kreativ Bloggers!
