A few thoughts for today......

  • what the heck happened to the steelers on Sunday? Were they asleep at the wheel?
  • why is it so easy to lose the first half of your baby weight and then the rest hangs on?
  • why is it that your hair doesn't want to behave after you have had a baby?
  • why do I have such gassy babies? I am going to stop watching my diet so carefully!!
  • what am I going to do with 2 children by myself after Ben's mom leaves (even though it will only be a few days until Ben returns home!)
  • how do you balance your time between 2 children? I am feeling guilty about not having time for Kendall.
  • last but not least.......why does lack of sleep make you feel like such a big cranky baby????

If you figure out the answers to any of those questions, I'd like to know! ;-)
It really is hard to balance time between the two...If I'm taking care of Avery, I think it helps to make Noah feel like he's a big help...or if there's nothing that he can do, just explain that sis is upset, and he gives her kisses. I hope this helps him feel like he's not just forgotten. He definitely enjoys his alone time after she's in bed though! You're a great mom, and it will all work out! :-)

You have no worries because it all will work out. It is hard to balance between the two but just as long as you spend quality time with Kendall-that's what matters. I have learned that it is quality not quantity that counts. Also, Kendall is old enough let her get the diapers and wipes ect. she will love it! Reganne was about the same age when I had Tucker and the more she helped out the more she enjoyed being a big sister. Also, if your doing something with Kendall and the baby cries don't drop what your doing with her and let him cry a little - it won't hurt him. (Plus you will need to get used to it sooner or later if Kendall picks on her brother like Reganne does hers!) Like Megan said - you're a great mom.
