The weekend thing

  • Thursday afternoon we went for a long family walk minus Kahlua of course and went to the playground so Kendall could burn off some energy.
  • Friday during the day Kendall and I relaxed with each other and enjoyed playing with her toys.
  • Friday afternoon and evening we worked on planting some more grass seed in the back yard. Boy will we be so glad when the whole lawn is grown in! I think that in another couple of weeks we will reseed the front lawn as well.

  • Kendall also helped Ben out in mowing the fescue grass that is out of control in the backyard.

  • Saturday was chores around the house. It seems like we can never get everything done in one shot or keep everything up. Kendall helped me get every last sock there was out of the dryer. She kept receiting the mantra....sock, help, sock, help.

  • We did reward ourselves with another Olive Garden trip. It was yummy and nice not to have to cook again!

  • Today we went to church then both Ben and I volunteered in the nursery. I lucked out and got the room that my friend, Ashley, was in so it was neat to catch up with her and find out that she is pregnant also!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Uncle Truck!!

We also spent the entire weekend outdoors. I have almost given up on the thought of having real grass.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
