Happy V-day & President's day!

Hi all!
So happy belated Valentine's day and happy president's day. I decided to take some of the quiet time while Ben is working on the kids toy box, kendall is watching her tv show, & Isaac is sleeping to work on the blog.

We have had a great weekend so far (Ben still has tomorrow off.) We went to a field day/family day for Ben's squadron on Friday. It was fun to see the guys goof around & work out together. I also had a great time getting to know a few more wives. It is always interesting to meet new people and learn their lives.

Saturday, Ben helped our friends move from their apartment out in town to base housing. We are so excited for them as now they can work on their nursery! We exchanged our v-day gifts & relaxed a home with the kiddos. Benny outdid himself this time :-)

Sunday Ben filled in and taught our Sunday school class. He did a great job even though I think he was pretty nervous about it. Our new pastor is phenomenal. Our church has grown to 1400 people on our services now. There are lots of changes coming that I am pretty excited about. I am sure that I will let you know as they come about.

Today we have spent working at the house and doing errands in town. It's too nice to have Ben home.....makes us wish we were independently wealthy so we could hang out together all the time!

Here is the semi-finished stepping stone of the year. Ben started this tradition in 2006. We made our first stepping stone and decided to keep up the tradition. This one says, "May the stars light your way." Since "tinkle" stars are Kendall's new favorite we went with this theme.

Kendall mugging for the camera.

My two most favorite little valentines. For those that have known me all of my life.... does Kendall's pose look at all familiar?

Wet cement is so much fun to work with.....

Daddy and Kendall bug hard at work!

How please I am to hear that Ben had filled in for JT in Sunday School. It blesses this Mom's heart----God is good---that is all I know. I love the stepping stone too, and the tradition, very precious! Love love to all of you! Chris/Mom/Grandma

That is a neat tradition with the stepping stones. Plus you can get the kids involved.
