I love the fact that Ben can drop the marine manly act and just be a goofball with me and Kendall. What a great quality! Not that I am biased or anything :-)
Anyway, just wanted to update ya'll about our current situation with Ben's job. He has told the XO that we want to stay here at the new squadron. (467) He really wanted to stay with 269 and go back with them to their next deployment in the fall but there are not enough slots. We are praying that this position in 467 works out because that will enable us to stay in our current house to build more equity in it. (But it will create a long commute time for Ben each day as he will be going to Cherry Point.) The monitor was really pushing for us to go back to San Diego but right now it just doesn't seem a good option for us. I would have loved to be close to Jess, Nikki, Bess, Liz, Melissa and Aimee though! Guess we will just have to visit again :-) I will keep you guys updated when we get final orders. Keep praying for us in our decision. Thanks guys!

i am thinking you both and hoping that it all works out for you. i know it will, everything happens for a reason we just don't always know why until after the fact unfortunately. miss you!

Oh come to San Diego!!! It's so wonderful here! :-) But really, we hope that everything really works out in your best interest, even if it means staying in NC.
I know how you feel. Everything is up in the air for Jones and his job situation right now too. I really don't want to move either! It's nice to feel like you know a place and you have friends there. I'm not ready to start over.
If you do have to move to SD, you've got us, and Ellie Claire would love to hang out with her "almost twin!"
