This particular statue just struck me when I saw it. It was a very visual reminder of the sacrifices that military children make daily. I like to try to focus on the blessings that the Marine Corps has brought to our kids but the truth be told, they didn't ask for this life. I loved that the Palm Springs air museum captured this with this poignant sculpture.
