Our old California home

Ben and I took a trip down memory lane today.
We visited our first home as a married couple here in Oceanside.
What a difference nearly 10 years makes!

So hard to believe it has been a whole year since we have had your sweet face here.

Our grocery bill has gone down since you are not helping yourself to loaves of bread, raw chicken, and everything else under the sun.

No one flopping in our grass while they are in trouble....

We traded our big ol' suburban in last week for a Chevy traverse. I know that for fuel economy and cost it will be great for California but I surely do miss the beast that kept our family safe for the last 8 years! I never dreamed in 2005 how much our little family would grow into a big family!

Last night, we had a local artist show us how to paint with acrylic on canvas from a photograph.
I love how even though we had the same instructions, we all came up with something completely different!

I cannot tell you how bad my first born wants curly hair. It pains me that wasn't in her genetic code so I am doing my best to try to give her some every once in awhile. This was a pinterest idea that worked really well!

I finally gave up trying to pack this house up with sweet, little Kymber in tow. She started PMO today and will be going each Wednesday and Friday until the end of school.
It's amazing how much I accomplished today while on my own. So very thankful for Benny letting me put her in, for St Anne's for having her, and of course the staff that take care of her!!
