Military life. It guarantees that you will meet more people than you ever thought possible. Love and lose more friends than you could possibly imagine.
As this summer's PCS season is upon us, I really wish that I could curl up and sleep through it. I am dealing with my own sadness of friends leaving but still need to support the kids who are losing friends.
I can honestly say that I have been ok until Kymber came to me yesterday with pen & paper. She asked me to write a note to her friend, Katie. It was to say "Katie, I love you even though you have to move."
So just like an upcoming deployment, I will cling to the memories made over the next few weeks and try to distance myself so that it doesn't hurt so much.

Just a few snapshots of the Littles last week. I'm hoping that they love these little moments of every day life when they get older!
Kendall has hit her 20 miles mark in her PE class. She is excited to be so close to the marathon club. I am so glad that they take after Ben more than me!
Maverick was busy during growth group last night. Any suggestions from our dog training friends? I know that he is bored but what else can I do to help him?
Signed,

Wow what a feeling! We took our refund check and some savings to payoff our college loans today!
It is liberating to say that the only debt we have left is the NC house!
I hope that we can help the kids stay debt free instead of working towards debt freedom! #accountability #financial health #workhard
So we don't have an actual birthday for Maverick since he was found as a street dog. Kendall decided that we would take the date range that the vet gave us back in December and cut that in half and give him a birthday. April 1st is the day that we celebrate our resident spaz! He is a work in progress on obedience and manners but you can tell that he is falling in love with our family and wants to please so badly!
So happy birthday Maverick Rowan!!!
