A piece of home...

One of my favorite things about Christmas at my grandparents house (besides seeing my family) is my Grandma's cookies. In specific, her peanut butter fudge. Imagine my delight after a very long and trying day to have this package arrive today!!
Thank-you Grammy!! It was a much needed treat for the kids and I!

Becoming Bloggy official....

We went immediate family official in mid to late July.
We went extended family official about a week or so ago.
Became Facebook official last week....
So now it is blog world time!
Ben and I are due March 28, 2012!
We are very excited.

I couldn't believe it so I took a few different tests just to make sure!

The signs that Kendall and Isaac greeted Daddy with to break the news.
(I have a video that I will have to work on uploading soon!)

I am doing ok. The first trimester has been pretty rough. I have been non-stop nauseous. (Even during middle of the night bathroom breaks) I had a pinched nerve in my left hip (which has mostly resolved and I pray stays away)
And of course I have been the MOST exhausted out of any of my pregnancies. Perfect timing since Ben is not here to wear these kiddos out!
I am very much looking forward to the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.
I found out last week that I will also have to see the maternal fetal specialist this time as well. I hope that he can clear me fast so that I am not doubled up on appointments.

It is very interesting to note, that I was actually pregnant on what should have been my due date with the baby I lost but didn't know it.
I believe that God knew I needed that final time to have closure with "what could have been" in order to move forward with no regrets.
I am looking at it like this....if I would have had that baby, this baby would not exist. It is really mind boggling to me.
I love this precious little one and can't wait to meet him/her. I will try to share more later on when I am not so tired!

Supporting my new habit......

My sweet hubster gave me this new holder for my sewing kit. How cool is he?! I am working on pictures of the baby gifts...just don't want to post them until they get to the recipients of them!

Sweet gifts

We have been extremely blessed with all of the friends that we have made at our church. I affectionately say that we have adopted "grandparents" here. Charles and Helen have taken us out to eat, been to our home to eat, brought us food, and now had a beautiful metal huey made for Ben. Charles approached me a few Sundays ago to ask if it would be all right for him to get that for Ben. Here is the final project. For those of you in the Jacksonville area, the gentleman that makes these is from our church and is starting his own business. If you are interested give me a holler and I will send you his number.
