Beautiful Baby.God's most wonderful creations on this earth.
A few of you know that I have been trying to figure out what's wrong with me (ok insert your jokes here) for the past few years. I have been experiencing horrible muscle and joint pain, extreme tiredness, a mental fog, irritability, along with a few other things.
I had a new doc in NC that started screening me to rule out fibromyalgia. All my tests came back normal except for my Vitamin D levels which were crazy low. She wanted me to start Vitamin D supplements to see if that corrected some of my pain issues. If not, well she was inclined to diagnose me with fibromyalgia. (I know those that have ever wrestled with being sick and not knowing why can sympathize with just wanting a diagnosis.)
Then life got in the way of treatment....in the form of pregnancy. Now that Kenzie pie is here, I am on the road to trying to be well.
Yesterday, I started my first of 8 weekly doses of Vit D. I am hoping to chronicle on our online journal the journey. I am hoping it will help me keep a record of my symptoms and hopefully relief of pain.
I am actually hoping maybe some of our friends and family might have experiences to share as well.
So my first dose was yesterday, Friday, May 30th. I'm hoping to check back in next week!!
Kendall and Isaac are so very excited. They have a karate tournament on June 1st & they finally got to spar. Bonus?!? They got to spar with each other. They will compete in forms and sparring at the tournament. This mom is still a newbie at terms and rules so this should be interesting!
This sweet pumpkin is staying up more during the day. She is so strong at sitting up and pushing up. I am torn between cheering her on and begging her to slow down. Trying to savor these baby moments of our last born.
She even had chubby hands!!
I received a project from Isaac yesterday. Sweet flowers for his mama. I love their gifts like this. I noticed that his hands are almost as big as mine. When did that happen? How did my chubby baby boy end up a stout and solid almost 6 year old?!? I'm thankful for our little space here online where I can journal our everyday moments for the kids to look back and see/remember all the little moments that made up our life as a family!
His very first book report & oral presentation. I hope he doesn't suffer his mamas fear of public speaking!
This is the sand storm that Ben experienced the other night. He had just swept out their office spaces so I'm sure it was a bummer to have his hard work undone.
Our sweet Kenzie was 3 months old on the 15th. There was so much chaos here due to the fires in Southern California that I forgot to post!
Kenzie sleeps 6-7.5 hours each night for the first shift so I really can't complain! She smiles a lot and has started to giggle & coo. The kids are still infatuated with her and often fight about whose turn it is to hold her!
