It is a flurry of packing, phone calls, memory making, tears, paper signing, final plan making, and waiting for the inevitable d-day to get here.
It's clinging on and also being ready to let go so the emotional roller coaster of that week is over.
While we were grateful to have an extra day to spend with Ben, it is bittersweet because of the emotions entailed with it. I am still sniffly and just emotionally spent. I decided to post some memories from the past week to help me cope through today.
Jordan girl.....her 4th deployment too. She knows something is wrong and has been on alert.
Final hugs and snuggles are hard
When delayed a day it is hard to figure out what to do.....

We had a despicable me marathon.
Daddy as usual falls asleep during the movie!
We made wood banks with daddy. We also made our annual Valentines day stepping stone.
We laughed at the antics of our crazy almost 2 year old.....
We "helped" daddy making breakfast
We helped daddy on the computer
I cuddled and snuggled as much as I could too....
We enjoyed roasting marshmallows and weanies on a fire in the backyard.

We loved on each other and tried to enjoy all the little life moments that we will be missing over the next few months.
