8 years in the making

This was supposed to post yesterday on our anniversary but it didn't....not sure what I did wrong but here it is!!
Today we celebrate the beginning of a new year but also more importantly, our 8 year wedding anniversary.

When I think of all of the things that we have been through in the last eight years (good & bad,) it really makes my head spin! In a good way......

Here are just a few of our 8 year stats.....

*3 states/4 houses

*2 cross country moves

*2 in town moves

*3 deployments

*countless seperations due to training

*2 Beautiful babies with the third to also occur this year!
In honor of all these milestones, I wanted to share a little arcostic on Ben....
I also must say that I stole this idea from my friend, Katy's, blog.

B- Believer, brave, bright (Ben believes in Jesus first & foremost but will constantly believe in others as well! He is brave because well that is just the type of man that he is....you can't do his job without a little bit of bravery! Ben is so bright that he just has to walk into the room and all my problems are fixed without him ever laying a hand on what I was working on. )

E- energetic (Ben is usually doing something ALWAYS. It seems like he has to have his body, hands, or mind working in some type of fashion. I admire that because I need downtime/naptime more than I really would like!)

N- Nice (Don't kid yourself this really matters! One of the first things that attracted me to this man was the fact that he was unfailingly nice to me, my friends, my animals, and everyone else that he encountered.

J-Just perfect (Ok so I know that is corny and I am not saying that he is without fault but I seriously never could have imagined a better mate. Thank goodness that God knows WAY better than what I do!)

A-adventurous (I love this about Ben because it pushes me out of my comfort zone. There is not a sport on earth that he is not ready to try. His job also has quite a bit more advenutre in it than I would like but it seems to please him!)

M-manly (Don't laugh...I think that this is an admirable quality and makes for a good leader!)

I-Intelligence (Ben knows so much even though he would deny this if you asked him!)

N- Not willing to give up...(ok I have preggo brain but I think that this is an important quality to have!)

Babe, I love you so much and pray that the next 80 years will be just as crazy!
