I am back! Whew....it took me a few days to recover from our marathon drives to Philadelphia over Thanksgiving so now I am ready to dive back in :-)
We had such a GREAT time with my parents, sister & brother-in-law, and my Aunt Diane's clan. It made the 13 hour trip there on Wednesday and our 15 hour trip on Sunday almost worth it! Yeah that is not a typo.....a trip that was to take 9-10 hours got way extended due to traffic, Isaac's insane appetite, and some other little mishaps.
Thanks to Jen and Josh for having our crazy crew! We had a yummy dinner on Thursday & had fun sharing it with the Chericos. We played our annual boys -vs- girls trivial pursuit game (sadly, the girls lost this year.....we'll get them next year!) added in some pictionary and then on Friday some Rook.
Ben and Josh also broke out the Xbox and played some silly ghost recon game. Jen put a stop to that pretty quickly thank goodness! :-)
We got to have a few treats while we were there.....sampled some hoagie subs from Josh's favorite Primo's & got some bbq, cowboy beans, and baked potatoes from Tex's BBQ. Ben was in 7th heaven since it was authentic Texas bbq!
The kiddos were well taken care of and entertained while we were there. Thanks for the toys Aunt Diane and Jen.....Kendall loved them!
I will post some pics when I get a free minute....I have to get Kendall ready for her first dentist appointment today & then we have a play date if she is good!

I hope Kendall's dental appointment goes as well as Joey's first one went. He left wanting to be a dentist.
Can't wait to hear how Kendall did at the dentist. Hopefully they were able to count her teeth. If they are a worthwhile office, they will make a big deal out of her even just sitting in the chair. Sometimes it takes little steps to get to the bigger event. The most important thing is to keep them smiling and no tears! I have had little kids in my chair for 45 minutes and all we've done is look at everything around the dental unit and talk about what they are going to do when they leave!!! Keep it positive!
love, Aunt Diane
