Dinners and lunches

Before we left Jacksonville, we had so many opportunities to say "see you soon" to precious friends.
There are so many sisters that I left back there that it was almost worse than leaving home for the first time!
I have prayed with & for these girls, laughed & cried, studied, and enjoyed them. I can't ever replace a single memory with these wonderful women! I couldn't let the blog go without some of the pictures so I can remember these precious faces!!

The Lake

We took some time this week to make memories (instead of unpacking!) I took the kids to Lake O'Neill here on Camp Pendleton. They loved checking out the wildlife, digging for treasure in the sand, and of course Kymber got her snuggles in! Love these crazy 3 and their very unique personalities!

Excited for school

Kendall and Isaac are beyond excited to begin their school year on Monday. They will be Mary Faye Bulldogs and are proud of it!
So hard to believe Kendall bug is already in 2nd grade and Isaac well it's not possible that it is time for kindergarten already!!
Kymber and I are probably not as excited to see them go! She will miss her buddies and I will miss all the chaos in the house!

Here's to a year of growth for all of us & prayers for a blessed year of school!

Before we left Jacksonville....

The kids with some of their Jacksonville friends. They were so blessed to have friends of many ages!
Kendall and Isaac are looking forward to catching up with Taylor who will be stationed in San Diego!
It's amazing how resilient the kids have been! We have had very little sadness about the move from them so far.

Big girl pigtails

Kymber sported her first pig tails a few days ago! I can't believe at 16 months old that she has enough hair to pull up this way! Our little girl is growing up!

What I'm reading

20+ ant bites = an allergic reaction

This mama feels terrible! I put baby girl down the grass where she happily played for quite sometime. I decided that it was getting too warm so we went inside. Daddy went to change her diaper to find allergic reaction to 20+ ant bites! Poor Kymber! She is looking much better today thankfully.

Love these boys!

Isaac (and Kymber) got to have another play date with BFF Sam today. Sam's mom graciously agreed to watch the kids while I had a medical procedure done. These boys are truly frick and frack. They make me laugh with their little boy antics!
We are definitely going to miss Sam!

Visiting with old friends

We were able to visit with my friend, Jess, this weekend. She came back to Jacksonville for a graduation. I was so thankful we were able to see each other again after nearly 6 years!
We worked together as RN's here in Jax and she was with me when I delivered Kendall nearly 7 years ago!
I love when I can catch up and it's just like old times!

Batten down the hatches

We have a 2nd grader!!
Kendall finished her last day in 1st grade today. She is very sad to be leaving her teacher but we are praying she likes her next one just as much as Mrs. Jones!

Eye protection

My healing process has been great from LASIK! I went in the first day post op and saw 20/15! It's amazing! I have had minimal dry eyes and have completed the antibiotic eye drops.
I am so excited to the world of possibilities that the surgery has opened up.
I have been following precautions. The picture is from my hair appt where I couldn't have my goggles on with the strap so I made a memory with them instead!

Farewell to Fuzz

Last night, we took Kahlua to her new home. It's hard to believe she has been with me for 12 years. Fuzzy has been quite the spitfire and I hope that she treats her new family well!
Here are our last pictures with her before we dropped her off at Isaac's soccer coaches house.

Last day of pre-school

It's so hard to believe that my little man is celebrating his very last day of pre-school! It's even harder to understand that next year 2 of my babies will be in school all day!
While I don't understand it, I am extremely grateful that they only have 1/2 days every Wednesday next year.
Here's to your next step Isaac....kindergarten!

End of school year party

Isaac celebrated his end of school year last Friday (even though he has one more day of school and a concert this week.)
Their party was at Chuck E Cheese. Overload for this mama!! A fun time had by all. I am going to miss these sweet boys that Isaac calls friends. We will all miss Ms. Sharp and Ms. Morrison!
So hard to believe my little man will be a kindergartner next year!

Bye bye glasses

Showered and ready for my LASIK today! I am very excited at what tomorrow will bring! I can't imagine waking up and automatically being able to see! I have had glasses or contacts since 4th grade so this really will be a life changing experience!
I am so thankful I have a husband who is willing to help me achieve this dream and for friends who are willing to step in and help with the logistics of it!
See you (LITERALLY!!!!!) tomorrow!!
