The Three Beach Nuts

For our family that doesn't have Facebook....
When my parents were here, My mom wanted to do a photo shoot of the three kiddos. (And that was the only way I would do it because there wouldn't have been a way to wrangle all 3 of them by myself!)
I chose the best pictures out of the 180 pictures that the photographer took to share with our family and friends that are not able to view them otherwise.
Don't worry, I will be sending out prints with Kymber's birth announcement!
An online announcement since we can't send them to everyone!

Kendall Autumn
5 years 9 months

Isaac Carter
3 years 7 months

Kymber Mae
3 weeks

I love,love,love this one!!

The Three Amigos.....

Proud Big Sister and Brother!

Breaking up is hard to do....

Ok so the kids didn't break-up with my parents but they did have to say good-bye for a few months.
Isaac shed quite a few tears when Grandma Chris left and it was Kendall crying over my parents.
It is one of the hardest parts of military life...living away from family & watching the kids be upset over saying goodbye.
We try to stay in touch by phone calls with my parents and Skype/face chats with Ben's family. It has to be good enough in this crazy lifestyle.
Here are the pictures from the morning my parents left.....

Gassy baby

One little gassy baby on her tummy= seeing her long hair!
It's crazy how much hair this girl has!

Screaming Mimi

Kymber had her first bath on Easter evening.
Now for this mama who is dying for a bath this just seemed like a heavenly idea. Kymber was not so keen on it. She didn't scream as much as Kendall BUT she did scream. Not sure why it is our boy who was the only one to truly love being bathed but....
Here is some of the footage from that evening

Stealing hearts left and right

Miss Kymber is stealing our hearts with her sweetness.
Now if we could just work on our sleep schedule......

Happy Birth Month

Happy 11th Birthday to our sweet pound puppy Jordan!
While we don't know your exact date of birth, it pleases us to celebrate you all month long!
Jordie still loves to play ball, chase bumble bees, & let the kiddos love on her. (Especially Isaac man)
Praying for many more!

Baby is confused

We received this cute hooded towel from Ben's current work station. Along with a funny set of orders for Kymber!
Ben and I were discussing our various squadron gifts and decided our children might be confused later on in life.....
Kendall was a "gunrunner."
Isaac was a "saber."
Kymber is a "war eagle."
We will have to let them know that they were all well loved by their Marine Corps family!

Testing

Kymber had her hip ultrasound done yesterday. Unofficial results look like her hips are fine! So very thankful even though she screamed the whole way through. We will find out officially at her 1 month appointment next week. Yikes is she almost a month old already?

Lunch....kindergarten style

Grandma Chris is here visiting so it is really hard for Kendall to go to school. We decided that a mid-week lunch would be just the ticket for some QT.
It was so nice so we had an outdoor picnic.

2 weeks old!

Miss Kymber is 2 weeks old today! I cannot believe she has been with us that long already.
She had her check-up today. My mother-in-law, Chris, is here and took me to her appointment.
Her stats:
9 lbs 4 oz
(they look to make sure that they have at least made it back to their birth weight so baby girl is doing good!)
20 and 3/4 inches
(I can't believe she has almost grown an inch in just 2 weeks!!)
I didn't think to ask what percentiles she was in because I had to talk about scheduling her hip ultrasound.
Kymber is doing great. Mainly nursing every 3 hours but we have had 2 night where we had a 5 hour stretch!
Ben is back to work so I am grateful that Chris has stepped up to change diapers, burp, and put that little monk, monk down!
I of course am attaching pictures! I am hoping to download pictures from the cameras soon too!
